Why Vespa Equity
We believe equity begins with earth and animal. How we interact with these forms of life truly begins the sustainability of an organization's efforts toward equity.
"Until man learns to respect nature and talk to the animal kingdom, he will never know his true role on earth."

About Vespa
In the fall of 2009, I was leaving a speaking engagement with a radio station and notice this small puppy near a busy highway, wondering by their lonesome. The puppy began snacking on an empty hamburger wrapper, and nearly getting swiped by passing vehicles. Upon getting nearly nicked, she darted back up a gravel driveway leading to a boarded up house with windows broken out. I looked at this puppy, saw what would happen to her life if I did take the next step that would forever change my life. I ran across the busy highway, and almost succinctly the puppy turned back to me and began running to me. She came to my arms and when I bent over to pet her, all I could do to hold back my tears was love on this little life. Her ribs protruding from her body and she limped liked she was hurt. And that was one of the absolute best decisions of my life, taking her with me and not turning back. The two weeks were a challenge and into the first few years of her life.
